Being born in Oklahoma into the Cherokee Nation, I identified with my native roots early on. My native identity has a big impact on the way that I see the world, including my view of physical fitness and the holistic way that I view its place in our lives. You can even see this in the logo for Creation Fitness. (The symbol in the logo is the Cherokee symbol for transformation.)

Another aspect of my life that has been a major influence on my view of physical fitness are the years that I have spent working as a counselor and leading small groups. We are made for community, not to be lone rangers. This applies to every aspect of our lives, including the area of physical fitness. Think about it; when do you have your toughest and most profitable workouts? When are you pushed the hardest in your training? When someone else is right there with you pushing, teaching, and encouraging you all the way to the end. This is what a good trainer does and why I love being a trainer!

And the community aspect doesn't stop there. I love working with couples!  This is why I offer training to both individuals and couples alike. Helping couples connect and form a greater bond, all while getting into shape is one of my greatest joys as a trainer.

If you are looking to develop a passion for physical fitness or looking to take your exercise routine to the next level, I would love to join you on that journey. Remember my motto, we are: Stronger Together!

I have my certification in personal training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I also have a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling and Psychology.
